Had a weird urge to be electrician-y this morning (remember, my late night is your early morning, so for me doing this stuff at 5:45 in the morning is not weird) so I hooked up the old dvd player from the living room (when we got the HDTV we got a vhs-dvd-burning player so we can make dvds of our old home movies and stuff) in my bedroom so I could watch Help on dvd. I'd had another old dvd player in my room for years and years that hasn't worked since one day it went all wonky while I tried to watch a different Beatles dvd (The First US Visit, I think? Something like that) and hasn't been able to read any discs since. (I'd blame the dvd, but I tried it in different players and none of them spazzed, so... whatever). Finally hooked it up (mmm dust) and watched it. I love that movie so much. Every time I see it I forget how many funny bits it has. There's a lot of British humor but it's the funny kind, not the weird absurd "is that supposed to be the joke?" kind that I don't get because I'm weird like that, I guess.
Anyway, I love that movie and it made me happy. <3 Tonight I might watch A Hard Day's Night. I wish I had Yellow Submarine, but there's something stopping it from being released on dvd. IDK what but it makes me sad because I love that movie :(

Why am I so useless? Why can't I finish anything? Why can't I DO anything? Why did God or the universe or whatever waste its time even making me? That sounds so emo, but really. I am such a waste of space. I like living, I like life, but I contribute nothing and I can't do anything about it. Sry world. IDK why anyone put me here.

Went for eye exam today. My eyes changed a small bit (it's now 20/400 in the right eye, 20/375 in the left... it was 20/375 and 20/350 before). Which means... blind as a bat (or a Scott. zing! sry Scott, ilu. I swear. Uh... American Idol joke. In case you don't know.)
I picked out frames... they're kind of ugly. They're slightly more square than these and not black (sadface!) they're ~Christie Brinkley~ frames in a coppery rose gold pinkish rusty whatever the hell I don't care, with the no wire on the bottom like I like. I swear the Wal*Mart eye people are the best ever though, super quick and really polite and professional and very lovely all around.
uh, forgot what else there was. Hmm. So... kbai. <3

THEY SIGNED MY FAVORITE PLAYER FOR ANOTHER YEAR. *happy dance*
In bad news, I need totally new glasses. New frames, new lenses, and an appointment for a new exam because there's no point in getting a new pair of glasses with an old prescription. Because we can afford that right now.
Boyfriend feels so guilty because I broke them in his house. He bought black tape so it would look slightly less crappy, and it kind of does (he's pretty crafty). From really far away if you're a moron it looks like they're supposed to have black triangles on the sides, so that's... cool, I guess. He tried so hard, I really appreciate it. <3 I DO feel less stupid.
Also, now I forget if there was anything else. BUT YAY BALFOUR, YAYYYYY FOR SIGNING FOR ANOTHER YEAR :D <333

I need a slushie.
Also, glasses are broken. Need new frames (most likely). Going to Wal*Mart today to see what they can do; if they don't have THESE frames, I'll probably die, because I'm so picky. Can you blame me? These things are pasted to my face, like, 19 of the 24 hours in a day. They HAVE to not be ugly.
Of course, they'll have to take them away from me, which means I'll either be wearing my very old old glasses that are bent and silver and not pretty sleek black, but they're wire frames like these and have the half-frame thing going on around the lens so the only adjustment will be my blindness. It's either that or be blind as a bat for a week or more, depending. Wal*Mart actually has great eye care, believe it or not. The doctor I saw last time was a total sweetheart and super professional, and the other people (what do you call them? technicians?) are always super helpful when I break or bend or whatever them, and it's almost always no charge to have them adjusted, except when you need new nosepads, those are $2.01. Why the penny tho?
Sooooo I'll be blind for awhile. It's not like I have many places to go, anyway.
Maybe I'll get a slushie for my troubles. (They're currently held together with tape. TAPE. because BOTH arms are broken ARE YOU KIDDING ME. I DESERVE A SLUSHIE FOR MY SHAME.)

Ooh, haven't updated in awhile. Not much to say, really. Falling into the winter blahs, I hate the cold :(
Our car is coming home from the fixing place (body shop? whatever?) soon. I miss it :(
